Perfect for Couples Seeking Romance
During our stay, the dining was really good, I mean they tailored a fresh pescatarian menu just for us, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, not to mention the cozy atmosphere of the room with a view overlooking the beautiful valley. The staff were just fantastic, so attentive and cute, it felt like we were the only guests there and they made our anniversary completely unique and special.
Sure, it wasn’t exactly pocket change but worth every dime.

Had an awesome getaway with my friends. Perfect base for exploring the fells and Derwent Water. The dinner was a lovely 4-5 course meal, and breakfast had great variety. Rooms were comfy and warm. Staff were super friendly and helpful too!
The only downer was the heating in my friend's room. it just wasn't enough to keep things cozy.

missingWrote a review on 21 Junexpensive dinner menuinconvenient breakfast ordering
We were disappointed that the only dining option was a very expensive four-course taster menu, which was out of our budget. I had hoped for a more affordable dining option to enjoy a meal at the hotel. the breakfast ordering process seemed inconvenient as it required pre-selection via a QR code the night before.
